Sherif was appointed Chief Strategy, Sourcing & Supply Chain Officer in April 2024. Sherif leads the strategic sourcing and supply chain function, overseeing the procurement of key commodities (edible oils, sugar, and wheat) for all Savola Foods Company facilities.

With 24 years of experience in the commodity trading sector across various global locations, Sherif possesses deep expertise in commodity operations, strategic sourcing, and commodity trading. Leveraging his experience, the strategic sourcing and supply chain function has evolved into a key powerhouse in the commodities field.

In his previous role at Savola as General Manager of Egypt Sugar Company, Sherif successfully led United Sugar Company in Egypt, Alexandria Sugar Company, and Alexandria United Land Reclamation Company, making them one of the top-performing teams within Savola Foods for six years.
