Chief Insights and Innovations Officer

Diaa Rashwan was appointed Chief Insights & Innovations Officer in February 2024, leading Savola Foods’ global innovation agenda across all product categories and markets. He also leads the B2B strategy and marketing, driving profitable growth across the company’s markets, and oversees the market knowledge and consumer insights unit, which plays a pivotal role in strategic planning and identifying new growth opportunities.

He has over 30 years of experience spanning sales, marketing, innovation, consumer insights, and B2B. Previously, he worked at McDonald’s International as Head of Business Research & Planning for the MEA region, covering 16 countries, and also served as General Manager of MEMRB, an international research agency in Egypt.

In this role, he is responsible for managing all new joint ventures and acquisitions. In collaboration with the General Managers, he oversees existing subsidiaries as well as other companies under establishment or development. Additionally, he serves as Strategy Officer, focusing on the company’s vision and strategy, which is implemented through the OGS framework.
